The
College of Agriculture and Related Sciences was established July 1,
2000. The college supports and promotes the mission of
Delaware State
University, with
emphasis on the tripartite land-grant mission of academics,
research and extension. Emphasis is given to faculty preparation,
scholarly presentation and student preparation for graduate and
professional school as well as related careers. Contribution to the
home, family life, consumers and business, and the state is a major
endeavor.The College consists of 2 academic departments, the Department of Agriculture & and Natural Resources and the Department of Family & Consumer Sciences, and the Cooperative Extension Service.
